We are looking for a skilled furniture and cabinet maker to join our team!

We are currently advertising to find a motivated and keen furniture maker who is interested in design and likes our work.

We are currently looking for a highly skilled furniture and cabinet maker with interest in the design and making of high-end contemporary furniture for residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Design, detailing and production of drawings for manufacturing, including CNC machining using 2D and 3D CAD
  • Making of furniture items following CAD drawings
  • on-site fitting of furniture

Essential criteria:
  • Min 2 years experience in making high-end fitted and free-standing furniture
  • high attention to detail
  • experience in designing and detailing contemporary furniture using CAD software (Vectorworks preferred)
  • on-site fitting experience
  • High level of spoken and written English, good communication and team working skills
  • interest in contemporary/ Scandinavian design
  • interest in sustainability, specifically sustainable design and manufacture
  • high motivation, good organisational skills, ability to use own initiative and work independently and efficiently
  • clean driving license
  • experience in rendering software desirable

We are looking for a candidate who is interested in growing into the role of a project leader overseeing jobs from initial design to completion, including:-
  • Design and presentation of bespoke contemporary, high end furniture items
  • estimating costs and timescale
  • overseeing the making process
  • coordination of suppliers/sub-contractors
  • managing and mentoring junior designers/makers
  • representing the company at client meetings and trade shows

Salary subject to experience, starting from £18,000.
